Curtain Dégradé, 2015

Main actor in the remodeled boardroom with the adjacent foyer is artist Shirana Shahbazis work on the floor, a color composition elaborated in terrazzo technique. Understanding the room as an ensemble, furniture and curtains are designed in correlation with both the artwork and the interior design - an exciting encounter of high quality materials.
The printed black and white gradient on the curtain contrasts the colourful and geometric floorwork, while the fabrics grainy materiality plays along with the many different matt and shiny surfaces of the furniture. The curtains have a discreet but decided presence in the room. Although the look is airy and lightweight they guarantee the requested privacy.
